- On now, to 6 Mar only, Women in Shipbuilding exhibition at the Common Room (former Mining Institute), part of a project led by Historic England, until 6 Mar, 10.00-4.00, Monday to Friday. It will then move to Newcastle High School for Girls to mark International Women's Day and British Science Week.

The team behind the Beyond Notability project will be presenting some of their work on recovering the names, lives, residences and work of women in the archives of the Society of Antiquaries of London and elsewhere.
