Archaeologia Aeliana is the Society's journal. It covers all aspects of the history of North-East England, ranging from archaeology (including excavation reports) and buildings to historical and documentary research, and from prehistory to the present. It has always been an important vehicle for the publication of research on Hadrian's Wall and the Romans in North-East England.

The Monographs and other publications comprise about eight volumes on various topics.

Twice a year the Society publishes its News Bulletin, and issues since June 2003 are available online in PDF format.

The fourteenth edition of J. Collingwood Bruce's Guide to the Roman Wall was published in autumn 2006, completely revised and rewritten by Professor David Breeze.
