Voting is now open in the 'Everyday History Heroes' competition being run jointly by Heritage Open Days and Findmypast. Shortlisted sites in the North East are Berwick Record Office, Cragend Farm in Northumberland, and Jesmond Old Cemetery. Closing date for voting is 31 August.
