   We received your favr. of 4th. Curr.in Ansr.we
have in our hands £109..9..11 due to the Sufferers by the late
Flood within the County of Northumberland as p Accot Below
We should have advised you of this sooner but had orders
from our Committee not to pay the money till ye Resolution
at their last meeting was entered into their Book of which
we were promised a Copy as soon as enter'd but have not
yet received it-However shall pay the money to the order
of your Committee ~ I am for Messrs. Surtees & Burdon
